ABOUT ME
Ph.D. (ABD)
I am a Ph.D. candidate in Arizona State University, honored to be a Fulbright scholar. My research centers around exploring the intricate connection between women's contentious politics and policy in Colombia and Mexico. I utilize a comprehensive mixed-methods approach that involves ethnography, interviews, text analysis, and OLS analysis to delve into areas such as political violence, transitional justice, and women's involvement in social movements. My expertise goes beyond research; I have been involved in designing, executing, and managing research and social initiatives within both governmental institutions and NGOs. My proficiency in conducting both quantitative and qualitative analyses, developed through collaborations with various organizations, equips me to employ a wide array of research methods, feminist theories, and comparative approaches. Prior to my current pursuits, I held a position as an assistant professor at the esteemed Universidad Externado de Colombia. There, I participated in interdisciplinary programs that nurtured a profound theoretical understanding.
